All Year Round Extended Day Teaching Assistant.

 

Salary: Scale 2 Point 3-4 (£18,741.43-£19,024.29) depending on experience.

You must have GCSE level, spoken and written English.

You must have experience of working or being with very young children OR a keen interest in Child Development and Childhood.

 

Permanent contract – (subject to probationary period)

Start date: As soon as possible OR January 2025

 

 

Due to the growth of our Extended Day provision, we are looking for a caring, motivated and responsible Teaching Assistant to join our experienced Nursery School team.
You will be working with 2, 3 and 4 year olds, who have access to play in 4 different class rooms (Shelters) and a large garden. Therefore, this is an energetic and active role.
In school term-time, the job involves supporting children in their play, working within a nursery class including supporting children with additional needs. The role also includes supervising at lunchtimes and at tea-time in our after-school club.
The position is an all year round contract and as such, you will also be expected to work 8 weeks in Extended Day Holiday Club (8.45 to 1.45 pm) across the school year.
You will have a minimum of 21 days Annual Leave depending on experience. This will include school holiday time when no holiday club is running and some term-time leave as well.
