RPS has a great opportunity for a QHSE Lead to join us in Newark-on-Trent on a hybrid basis. Supporting the QHSE Systems Manager, you will maintain all aspects of the Integrated Management System. Using robust auditing, the role aims to assess conformity with our health, safety, wellbeing, quality and environmental management systems.
What you’ll be doing
Assist in setting annual audit programme.
Carry out and document internal audits against set programme.
Collaborate with the BIM team to ensure BIM audit aspects completed and documented.
Ensure actions raised during audits are tracked and close out is chased, verified and documented.
Assist in external audits as required.
Assist in management and maintenance of supply chain management records.
Act as a focal point for specialist IMS expertise for the division.
Compile appropriate performance reports for the business and maintain performance monitoring, analysis and review against established metrics and standards.
Carry out IMS inductions for new starters.
Convene and make direct contributions to IMS review meetings and produce accurate minutes.
Assist in the maintenance of the IMS’s within the division to maintain external certifications and registrations as necessary.
Contribution to Tenders in relation to IMS and other business systems.
Who we’re looking for
Detailed understanding and application of at least one of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 and awareness of the requirements of the remaining 2 standards.
Experienced in auditing. Formal auditing qualification preferable (Lead auditor).
NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety preferable.
Good organisational and planning skills.
A professional and focussed working manner.
Demonstrates ability to prepare comprehensive, clear, concise reports.
Demonstrates ability to prioritise workload.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive and insightful in looking to deliver continuous improvement.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and SharePoint.
A tenacious and detail conscious approach to records.
Willingness to travel as and when required
