Day Rate: £105 – 115
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Are you a patient, compassionate individual with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs?
We’re working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Birmingham, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, to recruit a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Your Role:
- Provide 1:1 classroom support to a Year 1 pupil with ASD
- Use visual aids, structured routines, and sensory strategies to aid learning
- Build a trusting relationship to encourage confidence and independence
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt lesson plans
- Monitor and report on progress and behavioural needs
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting children with ASD, ideally in a school setting
- Calm, nurturing and consistent approach
- Ability to follow EHCP targets and work closely with staff and parents
- Strong communication and a team player mindset
