As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide tailored support to children with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
• Work closely with a dedicated team to implement educational plans that cater to individual needs.
• Engage with children in a variety of educational activities that enhance their learning and social skills.
• Monitor and support the children’s progress, adapting techniques to suit their developmental needs.
• Create a nurturing and safe environment that fosters learning and development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role with transferable skills, specifically within an SEN setting.
• A strong, confident approach and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
• Must possess a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, children, and parents.
• A commitment to professional development and a proactive attitude in going above and beyond to support our students.
