We are looking to recruit a Junior Designer for our client based in Leicester, Leicestershire.

Salary: £25-28,000 per annum depending on experience

Location: Leicester

About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple product areas.

·       Conduct trend research and assist in the creation of mood boards

·       Help compile shop reports and photograph and track shopping samples

·       Assist the Head of design and Senior Designer on a range of projects

·       Contribute to the design process across various product categories

·       Create detailed CAD designs using Adobe Illustrator

·       Prepare detailed and accurate tech packs for approved designs to be sent to factories

·       Liaise with factories to resolve design and production queries to ensure a smooth design process

About you:

·       Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative suite in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop

·       Strong eye for detail and understanding of fashion trends

·       Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and factories

·       A proactive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

·       Design degree in fashion is preferable, but not essential if have a proven design background from previous roles
