What being a Sales Assistant is all about:

You’ll make our customer experience in our premium Curi.o.city concession within Selfridges Birmingham one they won’t forget. No matter what you’re doing, it needs to be done to the highest standard. You will be focussing on:

Delivering an exceptional level of customer service to all our customers.
Actively greeting and approaching all customers,
Carrying out stock replenishment. Ensuring all areas of the store remain tidy and inviting for our customers to shop.
Participating in stocktakes and supporting the store team in stock management.
Meeting high standards of display and visual merchandising helping customers find what they’re looking for easily.
Being part of a team and supporting colleagues.
Maintaining a good working relationship working alongside our landlords and other departments.
Who we are looking for:

As a sales assistant, you’ll need a real flair for up selling our products and will need to have the confidence to make excellent product recommendations, showcasing our titles in an enticing way. Most importantly, we’re looking for people who are great listeners, confident in selling, work well in a team and who have a healthy dose of ambition. With the backing of your team, we’ll give you all the skills you need to succeed. And for those who want to get on, we’ll positively encourage you. There’s nothing stopping you becoming a future Store Manager or working in one of our Support Centres.
