Assistant Accountant required who is ready to take on a hands-on role in a dynamic manufacturing environment. My client is looking for an Assistant Accountant to support the Financial Controller with a broad range of day-to-day finance tasks. What You’ll Be Doing

• Accounts Receivable
• Accounts Payable
• Banking & Reconciliation
• VAT & Compliance
• Payroll & Staff Expenses
• Project Finance

What Are They Looking For

• AAT Level 4 qualified (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years’ experience in a finance support or assistant accountant role
• Proficiency in Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of ledgers, reconciliations, and core financial processes
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
• Experience with Sage Payroll and WIP accounting (a plus)
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, or PeopleSoft (bonus)
