Customer Service Administrator
£29,000 – £31,000 | Hybrid Working

The Role
We are recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator to join a friendly and supportive team. This is a varied role that combines customer service, administration, and coordination responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering exceptional customer support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing customer enquiries via telephone, email, and online channels.
- Providing accurate information on products and services.
- Processing customer orders and quotations.
- Maintaining and updating customer records on internal systems.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently.
- Monitoring order progress and keeping customers informed throughout the process.
- Supporting customer retention through excellent service and proactive communication.
- Updating CRM systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Preparing documentation, reports, and general administrative paperwork.
- Providing administrative support to the wider team as required.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive, positive, and customer-focused approach.
- Confidence working independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience within a technical, manufacturing, industrial, or trade environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
