We’re recruiting for a Goods In Operative to join an award-winning agricultural business in Dartford. This is mainly a goods inwards and warehouse-based role, focused on receiving deliveries, checking stock and supporting the smooth running of the parts department.

You’ll also provide occasional support within the showroom, assisting customers and helping workshop technicians identify parts when required. The Goods In Operative role is ideal for someone hands-on, organised and happy working in a busy environment in Dartford.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing daily Goods Inwards deliveries and stock movements
• Receiving, unpacking and checking supplier deliveries
• Loading and unloading internal lorries
• Moving stock into stores and showroom areas
• Supporting the parts showroom and assisting customers when needed
• Assisting workshop technicians with parts identification
• Carrying out stock checks and maintaining organised storage areas

What we’re looking for:

• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a busy environment
• General computer and numeracy skills
• An interest in machinery or the agricultural industry would be beneficial
• Warehouse, retail or showroom experience would be advantageous
• Experience similar to a Parts Advisor would be useful but not essential
• Full driving licence and good level of fitness
