Elevation HR are excited to be working exclusively with a Construction & Engineering Business as they look to appoint an Internal Recruiter on a full-time, permanent basis in Sheffield.
You will take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle, from attraction and advertising through to interviewing, compliance, onboarding, talent pipelining and strategic workforce planning. This role would also be an excellent fit for someone with a recruitment agency background, particularly within the construction or engineering sectors, who is looking to move into an in-house position while continuing to build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver high-quality recruitment solutions. As an Internal Recruiter you will be responsible for:
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle for high-volume trade and engineering vacancies, ensuring projects are fully resourced to meet demanding timescales
- Sourcing and attracting skilled candidates through a variety of channels, building and maintaining talent pipelines
- Screening, interviewing and assessing candidates, ensuring they have the right skills, qualifications and experience for each role
- Verifying compliance documentation, including certifications, right to work checks and industry-specific safety requirements, ensuring candidates are fully compliant before deployment
- Building strong relationships with hiring managers and project teams, providing regular recruitment updates and market insights.
- Coordinating the mobilisation process, arranging onboarding, travel, accommodation and all pre-start requirements to ensure a seamless candidate experience
- Maintaining accurate recruitment data, monitoring pipeline activity and producing reports to track recruitment performance
- Keeping up to date with market trends, candidate availability and pay rates, using your knowledge to support recruitment strategy and workforce planning

The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous recruitment experience and market knowledge within the construction and engineering sectors.
- Confident managing high-volume recruitment campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with the flexibility to travel occasionally to another Yorkshire-based site.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence, challenge and manage hiring manager expectations.
