Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages.
• Inspire students to achieve their full potential through a varied and inclusive curriculum.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes participation and achievement.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress, providing effective feedback to support learning.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attendance and academic progress.
• Contribute to extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures and wider school life where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and continually improve teaching and learning.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
• A genuine passion for Physical Education and inspiring young people.
• Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for student achievement.
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and improving outcomes for students.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative school team.
