Team Leader
Location: Freckleton, Preston
Setting: 2 bedded EBD children’s residential home

If you’re looking for a Team Leader role where you can make a real difference in a residential setting-and support children and young people with consistency, care and structure-our client has a fantastic opportunity available in a 2-bedded EBD children’s home.

What you’ll be doing as a Team Leader:

• Lead day-to-day support for a small, high-care environment for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs (EBD)
• Help maintain routines that keep young people safe, engaged and supported
• Support the team to deliver high-quality care and positive outcomes
• Work alongside colleagues across nearby homes when required, helping ensure continuity of care
• Take ownership of your shift and support colleagues to meet standards and expectations

What you’ll bring:

• Ability to drive (and flexibility to travel to other homes in the area)
• Confidence in taking responsibility and leading from the front
• A calm, supportive approach, with the ability to communicate professionally and respectfully
• Flexibility with shift patterns (currently 1 on 2 off, with discussions around introducing 2 on 4 off)
• Commitment to progression-particularly if you’re working towards Level 3 CYP

Additional information for Team Leader:

• Pay: £16 per hour while working towards Level 3 CYP, or £17 per hour if Level 3 qualified (typically around 150 hours per month)
• Sleep allowance: £75 per sleep
• Annual salary: £28,800 while working towards Level 3, or £30,600 if Level 3 qualified
