PMLD SEN Teacher

Location: Special School for Secondary Aged Students
Pay Rate: £200-£250 per day
Type: Agency Role

Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled PMLD SEN Teacher to deliver high-quality education tailored to the unique needs of our students. In this role, you will design and implement individualized learning plans, foster a positive learning environment, and collaborate with a team of professionals dedicated to the holistic development of each student.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to the needs of students with PMLD.
Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and adaptive resources to support student learning and development.
Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and adapting strategies as necessary.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
Qualifications and Experience: While Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is not required, we welcome applications from candidates with relevant qualifications and experience, such as:

PGCE in SEN Education
Diploma in Special Education Needs (SEN)
B.Ed in Special Education
Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
M.Ed in Special Education or Inclusion
Relevant experience in a SEN or PMLD setting
