Class Teacher
Job Description
We are working with a Primary School within Hertofrdshire that is looking for a Class Teacher to begin in November.
This position would be permament and will either be based in Key Stage 1 or Lower Key Stage 2.
We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and energetic teacher who works well as part of a close-knit team. A good sense of humor and flexibility are essential qualities, as you will be collaborating within a small team. Knowledge and experience of the National Curriculum and Therapeutic Thinking approaches are key to the role.

The team benefits from the chance to undertake national qualifications and regularly engage in joint planning and assessment with teachers from other schools. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced support staff, manage mixed-age settings, and develop skills in subject leadership.
The main duties of this role:
Plan and Deliver Lessons: Create engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the National Curriculum to meet diverse student needs.
Monitor Progress: Regularly assess students’ learning through formal and informal methods, using data to tailor instruction.
Manage the Classroom: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment with strong behavior management strategies.
Work Collaboratively: Collaborate with teaching assistants and staff, including SEN specialists, to support all pupils effectively.
Communicate with Parents: Maintain strong home-school communication, updating parents on student progress and strategies for improvement.
Requirements to apply:
UK QTS – Qualified Teacher Status
Experience teaching in a UK Primary School
Proven results in a previous role with academic levels
