Job Description

Job Title: SEN/SENCO Day-to-Day Supply Staff

Location: City of London and Surrounding Boroughs

Start Date: Immeidate

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with SEN? Are you a dedicated SEN professional looking for flexible work opportunities? We are seeking skilled and compassionate SEN D2D Supply Staff to join our team and support schools across various settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide targeted support to students with SEN on a day-to-day basis, ensuring their individual needs are met.
Implement and adapt teaching strategies to accommodate a range of learning styles and abilities.
Work closely with class teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
Monitor and assess students’ progress, offering feedback and tailored interventions when required.
Manage and support the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and liaise with SENCOs where necessary.
Requirements:

Previous experience working in a SEN or SENCO role, either in a classroom or as support staff.
DBS on the updated service
Strong understanding of various SEN needs such as Autism, ADHD, SLD, SEMH, and more.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Ability to adapt quickly to different educational settings and effectively manage behaviour.
Relevant qualifications in SEN education or a commitment to pursuing training in this field is desirable.
